Earlier this evening, I was trying to figure out how to calculate wattage using my multimeter on my electric iron. By accident, I found out how to clean my electric iron, and I didn’t have to waste my toothpaste. Well, so here’s one way to clean a stained electric iron. I don’t know if this works for every iron, but I know that I had tried twice on this iron, and failed twice lol
Step #1
Set the iron to the maximum and heat it up until the light turns off.
Step #2
Get an iron sponge, the one used for scrubbing pot bottoms, and scratch off the stains from the bottom of the the iron. That’s it!
If it gets too cool to scratch off, heat it up again to the maximum, then keep scratching until it all comes off. I hope it works for you. Please comment with your experiences below 🙂
Toothpaste and napkin can do the same thing…

Mehn, I tried toothpaste TWICE! Have you done it with toothpaste before and it worked? Besides, why waste toothpaste? 🙂
